Sneak preview 'Requiem Para El Mundo' van Nueva Manteca op woensdag 31 maart

nueva manteca 2De latin scene laat van zich horen in muzikaal Nederland! Vier bekende ensembles slaan de handen ineen en presenteren zich sinds mei 2009 als Dutch Latin Collective. Nu al is de muziekstroming, waartoe onder meer de Caribische brass, Surinaamse kawina, Argentijnse tango, Cubaanse salsa en Braziliaanse samba gerekend worden, sterk in opkomst. Maar het nieuwe collectief wil de latin nóg verder ontwikkelen en de bekendheid vergroten. Spraakmakende muzikanten van eigen bodem én wereldberoemde gastmusici toeren de komende jaren door heel Nederland. En ze zoeken de grenzen van de latin op. Het publiek kan cross-overs met jazz, pop en klassieke muziek verwachten. Swingen gegarandeerd!

Art exhibition Sober

At WMDC Sober concept store presents some of their artists in resident: Tim Boin, Basto Elbers, Bier en Brood en Kleurterreur. All the displayed art work has been made exclusively for this exhibition.

 

Sober offers a platform for young and creative talent to show their work to a broader audience. For this purpose Sober has a temporary store on the creative route in Rotterdams Old North and arranges places for these artists to display, for example restaurant Bloc in Amsterdam. Together or individually, the people of Sober make small and big projects happen. No limits and no boundaries, Sober does it!

The exhibition runs from February the 1st to April the 1st at WMDC.
